Okay. So I had it delivered. Oxtails on point. The Bang Bang shrimp was off the hook. That salmon roll, though. My favorite
Excellent food! The burger was perfect and loaded with real lobster on top! A lot of lobster!!! This place is definitely one of my new favorites. Shrimp fettuccine was packed with shrimp and the sauce was amazing. This spot is on point! A must try!
If you want to have an actual local food experience where the food is cooked to order and a menagerie of options then this is the place you need to go. I decided to come here after my daily workout because I was starving! The first thing that caught my attention was the art along the space as well as the anime figures and superhero figures that lined the space as well, they also have some real nice music while they order my food and everyone was very hospitable. I ordered the salmon pasta along with the virgin Island pie and if you don't get anything from there, you have to try the virgin Island pie. It's so delicious.
Area is mad sketchy but I'll risk it all for the Oxtail Pizza. 10/10. I will definitely be back.
If you want variety and great flavor this is your go to spot!! You can get anything from pizza, burgers, wings, seafood, sandwiches & more!! The staff is very friendly & willing to help...Renaldo is a very humble chef that is super professional & personable!!
I've been eyeing Renaldo's Culinary Experience on social media like it's the last slice of pizza. Every time I'd end up on DoorDash, there it was, flaunting those upscale prices like a bougie boutique. I mean, who charges a king's ransom for a sandwich, right? But there I was, near his place on Remount Rd, and my stomach was making executive decisions. "Come on, it's lunchtime and you're starving," my belly argued. So, I caved faster than a diet at a dessert buffet. Content creators have been posting over four dishes: the lobster mac & cheese, lobster grilled cheese, oxtail pizza, and the oxtail grilled cheese. Tough choices. I went for the oxtail grilled cheese--it comes with a side of crispy waffle fries and a birria dip that's pretty much liquid gold. The bread, grilled to a crisp perfection. The cheese and oxtail combo, melded together better than a hit remix. The waffle fries, they might just start a turf war with that chicken joint that takes Sundays off. Dropping $26 on a grilled cheese felt like a splurge, but hey, it was delicious. Just a heads-up: devour that masterpiece quick! Leave it in the to-go box too long, and you'll have a soggy disaster worthy of a foodie horror show. Next time, I'm eyeing the oxtail pizza. Because apparently, I haven't learned my lesson about fancy fast food.
This was my first time trying Renaldo's. I'd heard so much about it but was never in the area until today. I pulled in a parking lot to get the directions and it just so happened that it was their parking lot. Luckily, there wasn't a line to order when I arrived, so ordering was quick and painless. The only issue I had was deciding what to get. I decided on the garlic parm wings and fries. There was a bit of a wait because everything is made to order. It was fine because I wasn't in a hurry and I was admiring the figurine collection. The wings and fries were perfect. What more can I say. The wings were drenched in flavor. Also, they were huge. My picture didn't do them justice. This was a good trip. I'm glad I got the chance to check them out. I highly recommend that you do, as well. I can't wait to go back.
This place is amazing & I loved everything about it. All 4+ people who tried the food with me said the same. I've been eyeing this place from their instagram pictures and stories for a while now and finally got to come and try it. I got really lucky because there was no line when I came in but right after I ordered there was a line through the hallway! I ordered a lot of food however they were still very quick (15 minutes) with preparing it and everything was hot and cooked just right. The staff inside was also very nice and patient too as I navigated the long menu. It is not a sit down restaurant, you just go inside, place the order, then wait in the hall or your car for the food. The menu is so long- they have all types of tacos, pastas, burgers, pizzas, etc. Then they also have their specials menu to go along with it. You can't come here and not want at least 3 things. I got the oxtail pizza (of course), salmon alfredo birria tacos, garlic parmesan wings, lobster mac, mac and cheese egg rolls, and some more wings and lobster mac for people in our party. I paid around $107 which I think is great for that much food and the quality of it. We honestly loved everything and was snacking on it all afternoon. We had no complaints about anything. The oxtail pizza and salmon alfredo tacos were top 2. The wings are also super juicy so if you like yours crispy you should say that when ordering. I heard from other people the salmon and pastas are amazing too so I'll definitely be back for a round 2 of trying everything else.
I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. I kept seeing good pics on IG and had this bookmarked for a while. Finally tried it and y'all... one word sums up my whole experience- FLAVOR! Chef Renaldo did not skimp on the flavor - not salty flavor but layers and layers of flavor with depth. That's cooking done right! The restaurant is inside a building, next to several others. There's only a to-go counter so plan accordingly. My son and I used all our effort to NOT eat in the car on the drive home. You could smell the flavor before you even take a bite. Once we got home, it was game on! We ordered a variety of dishes to sample a bit of everything. We didn't even come close to trying it all but no worries- we will be back! Here's what we got: Bang Bang Shrimp - all those chain restaurants serving this could really use some help from Chef Renaldo cause his version is by far superior. The shrimp had a slight crunch, cooked just right with a creamy delicious sauce. I may have slapped some hands to get the last piece. Maybe. Shrimp and grits - so freaking bomb! Nice large pieces of shrimp cooked with so many flavorful ingredients- you can taste the onions, bell peppers and herbs. Simply wonderful. Wings - we chose Honey Hot and damn, it was both sweet honey with a slight kick of spice for the hot. We devoured it. No leftovers here! Fries - waffle fries are by far the best. Chef here adds some seasoning that just sends it over the top. You don't even need sauce with it. Philly cheesesteak egg rolls - what?!?! I've never heard of such a thing yet I feel like it should be a common thing cause man, it was perfect! Nothing like a typical Asian egg roll tho. Chef made this dish his own and I'm here for it. Lobster Mac-n-cheese - this was the dish I looked forward to the most. But I liked the least. Don't get me wrong, all the seafood flavor was there but I made the mistake of adding bacon and I feel that took away from the seafood and cheese flavors. I'm def ordering this again but without the bacon so I can enjoy more of the flavor. Just so you know - Chef here don't play with portions. You get your money's worth and more. Not only did I have a great ordering experience from the staff, I also thoroughly enjoyed the food.
